When a client opts not to continue advertising you need to do all updates and remove on-site advertising.

  • When you get advice a client does not wish to renew first create a Task in their Board so this gets into your schedule, make it for a date closest that suits you best
  • Then go to the contact and take out of the Client/Renewed Client list
  • Add tag "Old Client"
  • Take out dates in Advertising End Date, Advertising Start Date, Mid-Term Report due date, SMART Plan Type and Current Renewal Month field
  • Add month and year stopped advertising
  • Update Contact
  • Go to Notes & Activities, add a note re the closure and save
  • Open their last Report sent to be able to see all the places you need to remove their links or ads from which will include -
  • Most of the following you should be able to ascertain by looking at the above report or tasks in their Board -
    • Check if you have any scheduled classifieds and if so remove
    • Go to Posts and do a search for the client name, scroll through and unpublish any blog posts from them - take out of all categories and set as draft. You will delete all draft posts over time.
    • Also any general post articles that come up, open and take out any reference to the client or links
  • Then go to sliders and open all sliders they are in and remove their ad. This will be listed in all section and Feature sliders relevant to their services
  • Recheck the report to see if there are any other links to remove
  • Then go to Contact | Send email | CLIENT - CLOSING Report
  • Add to "Past Client" Automation
  • Go to their Board and find your Task to close client and mark as complete
