CLIENTS

First in their CRM Contact make sure they are put in the "School Holiday Client" tag and taken OUT of "School Holidays" tag and any other marketing tags set up for school holidays otherwise they might get caught up in the school holiday marketing automation.

When setting up a client for school holidays below are the places they should be added according to their Plan. Copy each list into a task in the appropriate holiday Board to complete.

Where listings/ads added for School holidays

  • Upgraded listings in the following site pages - School Holiday Programmes and Activities and Things to Do pages according to their school holiday plan eg Premium, Deluxe or Standard (same as HBC plans)
  • Ensure layout is same as HBC listings
  • Acknowledgement linked listing in School Holiday Fun Feature
  • Add into all the following Sliders (up to 6 ads depending on Plan) -
    • School Holidays Feature side adverts (and also in sticky top slider if Premium listing) (note these sliders are also in the directory Education section (no Education separate slider) and appears in Your School Holiday Hub Feature. This slider also appears on the Giveaways page and School Holidays Dates page.
    • Travel, Tourism and Local Activities side adverts (and sticky top if Premium)
  • NOTE: Businesses with Linku2 SMART Plans (Premium or above) get a 10% discount
  • Add a FREE featured classified advert in "School Holiday Activities" category
  • Inclusion in social media programme (all posts shared) - Facebook and Instagram
  • Upgrade listing in Google My Maps and note map views to put in stats for the first client you do then upload the map to the Education pages template and other relevant templates above (eg School Holiday Fun Feature)

Client Social Media

Once you have the client set up online you want to set up their social media posting as follows -

Head to your GEM "School Holiday Client Social Creator" and add the following prompt -

Here is a new client: [Insert Client Name]. Please generate their social media schedule based on this link: [Client updated page Link]

Once you have this save to your client/holiday folder so you have the text and the "Share Snippets" saved and ready.

Now go to Meta Business Suite to schedule your posts across the three different pages. To ensure the Main HBC posts are spaced out by about two weeks, and the other pages get their content organically, use a timeline like this for each client:

  • Week 1 (e.g., Monday): Schedule FB Post 1 on the Main HBC Page.
  • Week 1 (e.g., Thursday): Schedule FB Post 2 on the LU2 School Holidays Page.
  • Week 2 (e.g., Tuesday): Schedule FB Post 3 on the LU2 HBC Page.
  • Week 3 (e.g., Monday): Schedule FB Post 4 on the Main HBC Page (This ensures it is spaced ~14 days from Post 1).

Pro-Tip for Staggering: If you are filling this out for 4 clients at the exact same time, copy the template below into a word document and fill in online or print and grab a pen and quickly fill in the dates first so you can visually see that you aren't scheduling two "Main HBC" posts on the exact same day. Once the dates look nicely staggered, jump into Meta Business Suite and schedule them!

(You can schedule the 2 Instagram posts and the 1 Google Business post to naturally fall anywhere in Week 1 and Week 2 to keep the momentum going!)

Populate the Master Pod Schedule

Now that the posts are scheduled in Meta Business Suite, you can populate your Pod tracking sheet.

  1. Open your Master Pod Schedule spreadsheet.
  2. Wait until the scheduled post actually goes "live" on Facebook (or use the scheduled preview link if your pod rules allow it) to grab the exact URL.
  3. Paste the Client Name, the Post Link, and the Share Snippet (from your saved Master Doc) into the corresponding rows for whichever profile/group rotation is scheduled for that week.

Linku2 Site and Clients

REMEMBER for North Auckland clients to also add the client scrolling adverts in the Linku2 site to -

  • If North Auckland only add into sliders -
    • North Island holiday programmes banner
    • North Island side ads
  • If also in Waikato add in -
    • Waikato side ads (if in Hamilton)
    • Waikato holiday programmes (again if in Hamilton)

Hamilton Clients

If they are a Hamilton client you will need to -

  • Update all their business details in Linku2 area page (note only need to add North Auckland clients if they have a specific Hamilton location as the links for North Auckland in the Linku2 site go directly to the HBC site pages)
  • Add in Waikato sliders listed above
  • Add paragraph in Waikato / Hamilton things to do blog

Classified

Businesses may opt to just take a classified advert at $55 + GST - if so, CLICK HERE and select the School Holidays Activities category.

Classified clients will also get social media promotion.
