Trigger School Holiday Automations

SET UP CONTACT TAGS TO TRIGGER AUTOMATIONS

Briefly check you've set up all your Automations by checking the first email link and looking at your set dates in -

  • Apply Tag: Client
  • Apply Tag: Previous Client
  • Apply Tag: Holiday Active Region
  • Apply Tag: Holiday Non-Active Region

The go to contacts and first add "Client" tag to any providers who have already confirmed for the holidays and remove them from any of the other 2 above tags. This will trigger the Client Automation for these contacts. In this Automation nothing happens until 1st day of the holidays as all your other correspondence will be manual re set up and close down reporting.

Then go to contacts and filter by List: Activity Providers

Go to each of your tags and do following -

  • Filter for "Previous Clients Pending" tag
  • Tick all
  • Apply tag and apply "Previous Clients" tag
  • Tick all again
  • Remove tag and remove "Previous Clients Pending" tag

The go to the Automation | Reports and check this has been activated and for the right providers

Go to Contacts | Activity Providers -

  • Filter for "Holiday Active Regions Pending" tag
  • Tick all
  • Apply tag and apply "Holiday Active Regions" tag
  • Tick all again
  • Remove tag and remove "Holiday Active Regions Pending" tag

The go to the Automation | Reports and check this has been activated and for the right providers

Go to Contacts | Activity Providers -

  • Filter for "Holiday Non-Active Regions Pending" tag
  • Tick all
  • Apply tag and apply "Holiday Non-Active Regions" tag
  • Tick all again
  • Remove tag and remove "Holiday Non-Active Regions Pending" tag

The go to the Automation | Reports and check this has been activated and for the right providers

Remember with all of these to ensure you trigger for all contacts as there may be more than one page of contacts (max on a page is 600), like with Users. You will need to trigger for each page independently.

AS SOON AS YOU ADD THE TAGS THE AUTOMATIONS WILL BE TRIGGERED SO KEEP IN MIND THE TIME OF DAY - This will determine the same time for each Automation triggered email unless a time is specified.
